October 2022 Update inches up to 31.3 percent of Windows 10 PCs, AdDuplex says

The Windows 10 May 2022 Update only just started rolling out last week, and it appears the previous release has topped out with a minority share of Windows 10 PCs. According to the virtually recent monthly report from AdDuplex, the October 2022 Update is now on 31.3 percent of Windows 10 PCs. That's but two percent higher than where the October 2022 Update stood last month.

The ascendant force still remains the Windows ten April 2022 Update, which saw a slight drop to a 61.1 percentage share compared to its 63.2 percent share last calendar month. Meanwhile, the newly released May 2022 Update has already starting planting its flag with a relatively pocket-size 1.iv percent share.

It's likely that, in the coming months, we'll see the May 2022 Update scrap away at both the October and April 2022 Updates as Microsoft takes a slow and steady approach to its rollout.

As is the case with each of these monthly reports, information technology's worth keeping in mind that AdDuplex's data is based on a sampling of 5,000 apps that use its SDK. The latest numbers were collected throughout the day of May 28.
